Description:Who is the Program Coordinator and Supervisor? Other elements included in a disposition may take up to 90 days to complete. Teen Court is designed to expedite the cases of the first-time misdemeanor offenders. The offender admits to the offense, as in traditional diversion, and then goes before a jury of high school students charged with determining the penalties to be assessed. It is with this information and knowledge that the youthful offender becomes better equipped to make better life choices, change negative behaviors and leads to the enhancement of public safety.
